Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is a widely used treatment for men with low testosterone levels, but understanding the cost is a crucial factor when considering your options.
Below, we outline what you can expect in terms of pricing and what is typically included in different packages.
How Much Does TRT Cost?
The cost of TRT in the UK can vary based on the treatment plan you choose. Starting at £80 per month, this typically covers medication, follow-up reviews with our doctors, doctor's letters, referrals, postage, and ongoing support. However, follow-up blood tests are usually an additional cost.
What sets MANUAL apart when it comes to private TRT in the UK is our all-inclusive package. Unlike many clinics, our pricing covers everything – from postage and doctor assessments to medication reviews and even replacements for failed blood tests. No hidden fees, just straightforward support tailored to your needs.
Initial Consultation Costs
At MANUAL we offer three tailored packages to cater for a range of budgets:
Remote Consultation
Except for a small group of patients with specific medical conditions where testosterone replacement would be contraindicated, most men will qualify for a remote consultation. Our clinical support team will help evaluate whether you are suitable for a remote consultation.
MANUAL’s remote consultation is £79.95.
Transfer Consultation
Patients who are already on a course of TRT with another provider can transfer their care and are offered a discounted consultation of £70.
Monthly Subscriptions Costs
MANUAL’s monthly subscription includes ongoing support from the team. Specifically, this means, follow-up consultations with our clinicians and doctors, and the cost of your medication. There are no surprises as postage, medication reviews, and additional support are all included in the monthly subscription costs.
Subscription costs vary depending on the specific medication you’re prescribed.
- Testogel:
£90 per month
- Other topicals (absorbed through the skin not injected):
£110 per month
- Testosterone injectables from a vial:
£110 per month
At MANUAL we are constantly striving to make our treatment and medication plans more affordable for our patients. Our mission is to empower men by providing information, choices and solutions to proactively own their wellbeing
MANUAL offers a unique service that provides medications for your convenience- delivered straight to your door so you don’t have to search for them locally or online.
We take every precaution to ensure our prescriptions are always in stock, and our subscription packages include follow-ups with medical professionals as well as comprehensive support from our team. Furthermore, we do not charge any extra fees for postage or administrative services – something most clinics cannot offer.
Add-ons
Patients may require add-ons to support fertility, or to help preserve their own production of testosterone, (this will be discussed in your consultation).
Fertility injection add-on
This is known as HCG and is widely used in conjunction with TRT to maintain fertility. If you are on a higher dose then you will use two vials of HCG per month, lower doses use one vial per month.
You can choose to have this added to your subscription on repeat or manual ordering. Each vial is priced at £15.
Oestrogen controlling medication
Our clinicians aim to avoid prescribing these where possible, although some men may need them due to a higher body fat ratio or a tendency toward higher oestrogen levels. This will be discussed in detail at your consultation.
For £30, you can purchase a pack that typically lasts more than four months.
TRT Blood Tests
Blood Tests are important to ensure that we are providing safe and effective care to our TRT patients. Blood Tests are required before TRT treatment is recommended and to ensure your treatment plan is appropriate for you. It is also important to monitor your TRT treatment at regular intervals to ensure that you don’t suffer from any potential issues related to testosterone usage.
Blood Test Schedule:

– Pre-treatment
Monitoring

– 3 months
– 6 months
– 12 months
Blood tests are not included in your monthly subscription plan. After each one, you’ll receive direct feedback and counselling from a doctor – included in the subscription fees.
Doctor’s Letters, GP Letters and Correspondence
It is important that you keep your GP and other professionals involved in your care up to date with your care and treatment. All letters and supporting correspondence that you may need are included in the monthly subscription price.
Blood tests, Bacteriostatic water and injection supplies are not included in the subscription cost and we provide these at competitive prices.
